I was so excited and I still can't believe that I won a scholarship. Thank you everyone who was involved in selecting me for this scholarship. I heard about owl scholarships when I was doing a Google search for scholarships. I followed the Google link and found dozens of places where I could apply for a scholarship. Winning this means so much to me. I feel like it is verification that I am doing the right thing by choosing to go back to college and get my PhD. I am going to work as a hospital chaplain once my degree is finished. And I will do this because of the scholarship and what it means to me.

I’m so excited to have received the Appily $1000 scholarship! I had been browsing ScholarshipOwl for opportunities and came across this one. I’m somewhat dumbfounded to have been selected, but I feel incredibly grateful and fortunate for the opportunity—especially since Master's programs often don’t offer much financial assistance. This fall, I’ll be studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, and I hope to work at a medical device company specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation after I graduate.
